PCB Controlled Solar Lantern operates on a high frequency of 27 KHz with pure sine wave inverter using a 7W CFL having pre-heat technique to avoid the blackening of ends. The Solar Lantern has an inverter that is protected against accidental short or open circuit conditions and low drop out voltage to utilize the full potential of solar panel that is achieved by an efficient diode which also prevents reverse current from battery to panel at night. The Solar Lantern ensures lumen output that is constant over entire operating range of battery voltage and is equipped with 10W solar panel with suitable cable for connection. PCB Controlled Solar Lantern is an effective solution for light at homes where mains utility is unavailable.
