Product Profile of Water Resistant Cationic Bitumen Emulsion
Water Resistant Cationic Bitumen Emulsion is available in liquid form of bitumen in which substantial amount of bitumen is suspended in finely divided condition in an aqueous medium. The Cationic Bitumen Emulsion is used to coat and bond loose mineral particles on the surface of the base course. The Cationic Bitumen Emulsion is ideal for sealing surface pores and makes the surface of the base course water-resistant. Water Resistant Cationic Bitumen Emulsion is ideal for assisting adhesion between the base and the super imposed surface course in conjunction with a tack coat.
Applications of Water Resistant Cationic Bitumen Emulsion:
- To coat and bond loose mineral particles on the surface of the base course
- To seal surface pores and make the surface of the base course water-resistant
- To penetrate the existing base course i.E., WMM surface so as to plug the capillary voids in it
- To harden and toughen the base course surface
- To assist adhesion between the base and the super imposed surface course in conjunction with a tack coat
