Product Profile of Thermostatic Air Vent Valves
Thermostatic Air Vent Valves contain a special liquid within the capsules that evaporates or condenses with the change of temperature. The Air Vent Valves is operated under the temperature which is few degrees below the boiling point of the water. The Air Vent Valves open its valve when the temperature falls and the liquid condenses and closes the valves when the temperature rises and the liquid evaporates. Thermostatic Air Vent Valves are installed either horizontally or vertically.
Technical specifications of Thermostatic Air Vent Valves:
- Connections - 15/20 NB screwed end
- Operational Limit - 28 Kg/cm2.
- Material of Construction – Stainless steel body and internals.
- Max. Operating temp – 300° C.
Key Features of Thermostatic Air Vent Valves
- Liquid inside condenses or evaporates with the change temperature
- Operating temperature is few degrees below the boiling point
- Due to the very slight temperature drop, accumulation of the condensate is reduced
- The capsule reacts to temperature changes immediately
- Ensures prevention of looses in live steam
- Insensitive to water hammer and back pressure
- Installed horizontally or vertically
