Low Alloy Medium Carbon Spring Steel Strip is used in the production of springs and it contains between 0.40% and 0.80% carbon, with alloying elements added for products such as automotive clutches, sheet metal components etc. The Steel Strip is used where hardness or resistance to bending is required such as wood cutting tools. The Steel Strip is available in either in the annealed condition or in hardened and tempered form. Low Alloy Medium Carbon Spring Steel Strip is suitable for flat components or where the production is primarily laser cutting or plain blanking.
