On Load Tap Changer comes with change over switch it can provide 35 operating positions and is suitable for linear, coarse-fine, reversible operation. The Changer has separate selector switch and divert or switch available and tap changer is constructed as a vertical column. The Changer is suitable for transmission lines where power rating is less than 220 KV and is applicable for aerospace and military applications used in transmission lines. The Changer has divertor switch for 4 different voltage classes and accordingly the height of the compartment varies and tap selectors are available in different levels of voltage withstand between various live parts of tap changer. The On Load Tap Changer can be used in power transformers up to 500 MVA/ furnace/ rectifier transformers and is used in bulk power consuming industries.
