Shell and Tube Type Condenser is offered with carbon steel plates with adequate thickness for high strength and proper expansion of tubes. The Condenser is able to condense in a temperature range of 42.2°C. The Condenser functions with water flow rate of 15.14 LPM. Shell and Tube Type Condenser is painted with two coats of red oxide and final synthetic enamel paint.
Key Features of Shell And Tube Type Condenser
- S hell: ERW carbon steel pipe as per IS-1239/IS-3589 or rolled from carbon steel pipe.
- Tubes: Copper integrally finned with 7.5 fins/cm. Tubes are rolled expanded into tube sheet holes.
- Tube sheets: Carbon steel plates with adequate thickness for strength and proper expansion of tubes.
- Water end covers: Cast iron end covers are designed with multipass arrangement.
- Refrigerant connections: Gas inlet and liquid outlet nozzles are provided with T&G.
- Painting: After proper cleaning, condensers are painted with two coats of red oxide and final synthetic enamel paint.
- Pressure testing: Condensers are tested for 25kg/cm square pneumatic pressure on shell side and 10.5kg/cm square hydraulic pressure on tube side.
- Heat rejection per tonne: 3780kcal/hr.
