Product Profile of Gang/ Worksite Remote Control Hooter

Gang/ Worksite Remote Control Hooter is a wireless based remotely operated alarm for employees working on the track. The Hooter has remote control operation so that the look out man standing around 150 meter away from the track machine can operate the hooter to warn the staff working on/ around the track machine about approaching train on adjoining track. The Hooter can be operated by remote control unit from a distance of 1200 m. Gang/ Worksite Remote Control Hooter works even if the remote switch and hooter are not in same line of collimation.

Gang/ Worksite Remote Control Hooter has the following features:

• A wireless based remotely operated alarm for employees working on the track.

• Has remote control operation so that the look out man standing around 150 meter away from the track machine can operate the hooter to warn the staff working on/around the track machine about approaching train on adjoining track.

• Opeerated by remote control unit from a distance of 1200 m.

• Works even if the remote switch and hooter are not in same line of collimation.

• The Lookout man standing at 1200 m from the working site operates the hooter by remote control unit in the event of an approaching train over the adjacent track/same track.

• The intensity of the sound is between 105-110 dB[A] and the variation in intensity of sound is not more than 5 dB[A]. It is user friendly and has one-step operation.

• This system has the facility of local alarm/ hooter which may be sounded in case of emergency/ requirement by pressing ‘Test’ Button.

• The system continuously monitors the health of Remote control unit and vice versa.

• The system generates alarm even in Remote control unit link failure condition.
