Product Profile of High Temperature Resistant Solid Lubricant
High Temperature Resistant Solid Lubricant is ideal as a dry lubricant and parting agent on pipe joints, gaskets and packing. The Solid Lubricant is suitable for heavy duty lubrication to withstand extreme temperatures, extreme pressures and corrosive conditions. The Solid Lubricant is available in a particle size range of 0.197 mm to 2.00 mm. High Temperature Resistant Solid Lubricant is chemically inert and offered with an electrical conductivity of 0.0395-0.0693.
Key Features of High Temperature Resistant Solid Lubricant
- Chemically inert.
- Not affected by temperature and pressure.
- Unctuous, dry solid lubricant.
- Solid Content: 100%.
- Density: 2.25 gm./cc.
- Electrical conductivity: 0.0395 - 0.0693.
- Electrical resistance: 0.00283 [at 21°C].
- Sublimation Temperature: 3650°C.
- Vapourisation temperature: 4500°C.
- Oxidation Temperature:900°C.
- Particle size: 0.197 to 2.00 mm.
- A good conductor of heat and electricity and has a low coefficient of expansion.
- Solid state allows it to withstand extreme pressures without being forced out of load bearing surfaces.
- Resists conditions that cause failure of most lubricants namely high temperature, high pressure and corrosive chemical conditions.
- Ideal parting agent for application on pipe threads, gaskets and moulds.
