Forged Type Gate Valves are equipped with fully guided wedge that ensures no chatter on seat face during closure and eliminate undue side thrust on stem. These Gate Valves are offered with stellited seat rings that eliminate galling and stellited seats can withstand on line erosion and corrosion thereby increasing valve life. These Gate Valves are available in a wedge design that is solid with ribs enabling guiding of wedge throughout the travel. Forged Type Gate Valves have a bolted bonnet with screw and yoke construction at the outside.
