Magnetic Field Actuated Sensors are suited for piston position detection in pneumatic cylinders. These Field Actuated Sensors can detect a permanent magnet attached to the piston through the aluminium wall of the cylinder as magnetic fields can permeate non-magnetizable metals. These Field Actuated Sensors are capable of detecting permanent magnets of various field strengths on all common cylinder types. Magnetic Field Actuated Sensors come in weld-field immune version for welding applications.
