Product Profile of Chopped Strands/ Cut Fibres
Chopped Strands/ Cut Fibres are also used as reinforcement for thermosets and thermoplastic such as PolyButylene Terephthalate, Poly Ethene Terephthalate, polypropylene, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, etc. These Chopped Strands can be used to strengthen edges or corners for polyester systems. These Strands are made by chopping continuous dry or wet strands in 3mm to 6mm lengths depending on the type of strand. Chopped Strands/ Cut Fibres are easily handled and added to a polyester or urethane resin system to impart strength.
