Product Profile of Cylindrical/ Rectangular Type Shear Beam Load Cell

Cylindrical/ Rectangular type Shear Beam Load Cell is insensitive to lateral forces, and point of application of torque is not critical. The Shear Beam Load Cell is available in cylindrical or rectangular type construction and provided with IP-68 protection. The Shear Beam Load Cell is available in durable and rigid construction and mainly used for lorry weigh bridges. Cylindrical/ Rectangular type Shear Beam Load Cell is provided with strain gauge which is placed at the bottom of the blind holes.

Cylindrical/ Rectangular type Shear Beam Load Cell has the following features:

• Can be either cylindrical or rectangular.

• The strain gauges are placed at the bottom of the blind holes.

• The strain gauges are mounted on the beam at 45 degrees to the longitudinal axis.

• Is insensitive to lateral forces, and point of application of torque is not critical.
