The Aluminium Oxide does not shrink, swell, soften nor disintegrate when immersed in water and comes in beads form. The Aluminium Oxide is available in 0.75-0.85 gm/lit bulk density and comes in 345-415 sq m / gm surface area. Activated Aluminium Oxide is ideal for purification of gases and liquids and drying of organic liquids such as LPG, propylene, butene, steam cracked liquids, cyclohexane, gasoline, chloro- and fluoro hydrocarbons, aromatic solvents etc.
