- The base has a built-in hydraulic retraction arrangement to retract the drill head 16" from drilling position to facilitate introduction of large series casing, drive pipe etc.
- It is possible to move the drill over rough rocky ground with out damage to hydraulic retraction cylinder.
- The base is provided with built in traction sheaves to move machine under its own power by using the hoist.
- The drill can also be provided with pneumatic tyred trailers for easy transportability.
