Oil Soluble Magnesium Petroleum Sulfonate is a fuel oil additive with an average particle size of 0.06 microns containing 14 wt. % magnesium. The Petroleum Sulfonate is oil soluble clear brown coloured liquid with good stability in the presence of water. The Petroleum Sulfonate forms high melting point compounds with vanadium during combustion, therefore reduces corrosion and sulfur trioxide formation. The Oil Soluble Magnesium Petroleum Sulfonate can be directly added to fuel oil or injected into the fuel line.
