Diffuse Scan Photo Sensor can recognize the presence of target at a preset distance from optical face & available in cylindrical & flat shape. Emitter and receiver are placed in the same housing in Diffuse Scan Photo Sensor. Diffuse Scan Photo Sensor is offered by Dolphin Device.
Dolphin Device is the manufacturer of a wide range of AC & DC type inductive proximity switches, capacitive proximity switches, photo electric sensor and solid state relay [SSR]. In a Diffuse Scan Photo Sensor, the emitter E sends out a beam of infrared which reflects directly by target [at any angle] to the receiver R. The receiver receives a small portion of light, switching the sensor when target detected in effective sensing range. It is used in many system for non contact detection of parts for counting measuring and positioning.
