Water Proof Fabric Phenolic Laminates are available in two grades, F-2 and F-3. F-2 is a general purpose laminate with good mechanical strength that is used in Gears, Shuttles, automobile couplings, low voltage contact breaker, friction plates, etc. F-3 has high impact resistance, mechanically strong with adequate machinability and it finds application in heavy duty gears, Pulleys, work bench top, rolling mill bearings. The Phenolic Laminates are made from woven cotton fabric bonded together using specially formulated phenolic resin that is graded accordingly to the coarseness of fabric.
