Drum Heater with Junction Box is developed for heating the drum in vertical position. The electrical heating element is housed in a robust metal casing with castors and hinges for easy slip into position around a heavy drum. The elements are spread uniformly and backed with 50mm thick thermal insulation to ensure the better thermal efficiency. Base Heater is also provided for better heating efficiency. A junction box with thermostatic temperature controller and contactor is provided outside the drum heater. A metal clad socket is also provided for connection of base heater. A lid is provided to cut out draughts and thus reduce the heat losses. These find application in Plastic, Electrical, Process, Food industry and Cold Storage.
