Industrial Grade High Impact Polystyrene has tensile strength ranging from 2.20 to 2.70 n/ mm² and notched impact strength from 10.0 to 20.0 kj/ m ². The Polystyrene has density ranging from 1.03 to 1.06 g/ cm3 and is hard, rigid and translucent. The Polystyrene has impact strength up to 7 X GPPS. The Industrial Grade High Impact Polystyrene finds application in yoghurt pots, refrigerator linings, vending cups, bathroom cabinets, toilet seats and tanks, closures, instrument control knobs.
