Input and Output Reactors for Drives are used along with general AC drives/converters. These Input and Output Reactors limit the harmonics fed back to supply and also the super imposed AC currents in the DC link capacitors. These Input and Output Reactors reduce the DV/DT that is the voltage rate change at the motor terminals. These Input and Output Reactors for Drives also reduce the charge current spikes for long cables.
