Oil Immersed High Voltage Transformer is used for stepping down voltage from transmission lines. The Transformer has force cooling and on load tap changer. The Transformer has high dielectric insulation property to withstand lightening impulse and has the feature of pre heating of coils under vacuum as to achieve desired compression height and maximum shrinking of coils. The Transformer has wood clamping rings for uniform compression of primary and secondary windings and coil clamping screws for sustaining high mechanical strength due to short circuit forces. The Transformer has adequate ducts between layers, coils, discs for maximum oil flow and reduced hot spot temperature. The Oil Immersed High Voltage Transformer ensures low losses.
