The Corrosion and Oxidation Resistance Coating with Sliding Property, also known as Balinit® D, is used to protect against cold welding and scuffing and hence finds an application in machining of copper, plastic injection moulding, metal die casting etc. The Corrosion and Oxidation Resistance Coating has micro-hardness of 1750 HV and friction coefficient of 0.5 against dry steel. This Coating has maximum temperature of 700 Degree C and has silver-grey colour.
