Ganguli Ceramics manufactures Enamel and Glaze Bonding Frits. Ganguli Ceramics supplies a range of still enamel frits and corrosion resistant frits for coating on cast iron, sheet steel, aluminum and the noble metals. The Enamel and Glaze Bonding Frits are used as a sort of `glue` to hold together ceramic-based bodies of crucibles, grinding wheels, spark plugs and other items. They can also be used sealing metallic tubes with non-metallic material. The appropriate frit is powdered and mixed with the body to be bonded, and then fired to its melting temperature [which must be lower than that of the material being bonded]. On cooling, the Enamel and Glaze Bonding Frits frit hardens, and holds the body together.
