In Shuttering Oil with Coverage 75 to 150 sq m/ litre, the high concentration of this release agent allows a dilution up to eight parts with water depending upon the porosity of the form work. The thin film of the release agent prevents the cement slurry to stick to the form work, leaving the concrete surface also without the coating of the release agent

Applications of Shuttering Oil with Coverage 75 to 150 sq m/ litre are:

• Ensure that the surface of the form work is clean

• Mix 1 part Astral Release EMC with 5 parts water, the ratio of Astral Release

• EMC: Water is 1:5

• On the cleaned form work apply a single coat of Astral Release EMC using a spray. A very thin coat is sufficient.

• Please ensure that the coated surface is protected from dust and direct sunlight.

• Coverage: 75 to 150 sq m per litre, depending upon dilution.
