Mass spectrometer leak detector from hindhivacs is a complete system for locating and measuring the size of the leak in a device or in a container. The leak detection is initiated when a tracer gas, helium, is introduced to the test job which is connected to the leak detector. The company also manufactures manual, automatic and portable custom built and special helium leak testing stations for every leak test application. The analyser cell is a continuous 18ox deflection mass spectrometer with a fast response and clean-up time, ultra high stable amplifier, high sensitivity, and a low background noise. It is highly sensitive with minimum detectable leak rate of 2 x 10-11 mbar lit/sec and the analyser cell is capable of reliably separating helium ions not only at lower pressure 10-6 mbar but also at high pressure 10-4 mbar. Ioniser constantly backed at 400°c by electron bombardment and radiation, prevents contamination of ion source and hermetically sealed feed throughs prevent electrical and vacuum leakages. Electrometer pre-amplifier kept in vacuum provides ultra zero stability and the dual vacuum set point controller protects the filament during accidental air in-rush and power failure. The automatic helium leak detector has measurable leak range of 2 x 10-6 atm cc/sec in 7 decades and the noise amplitude is less than 2 percent of full scale deflection in 10 x 10-10 mbar lit/sec. Hand held microprocessor controlled remote control enables the operator to view the necessary parameters and operate the test cycle from a remote place and the leak detectors can be used for testing and measuring vacuum integrity in products like: automotive parts, bellows, beverages cans, food containers, pressurized fluids, electronic feedthrough, electron tubes, electric lamps, glass to metal seals, heat exchangers, and hermetic seals.
