The Overhead Chain Conveyor is made with tracks and four-wheel trolley chain construction designed for lightweight components.
Key Features of Overhead Chain Conveyor
- Chain: The conveyor is having chain pitch as 100 mm with four bearings per pitch, two for loading & two for guiding them through the defined path. The chain is bi-planer with cardon joints. Cardon joint is made from solid square bar machined with special fixture.
- Track: Track is made up of angles to guide the chain. Flanges are provided to connect the two straight tracks and bends. As the pitch of the chain is very less i.e. 100 mm the minimum 300 mm horizontal bend radius is sufficient. The hanging pitch can be in multiples of 100 mm.
- Lubrication: The large clearance machined bearings are used for this chain conveyor. The hardened and groundball are used for the chain. The inner races and outer races are hardened to 50-55 RC. These rollers require lubrication for which Intech provides an auto lubrication system.
- Drive unit: The drive unit is Sprocket drive with tension unit.
- Control Panel: We provide a standard control panel safety for motor protection namely single phasing, overload, safety limit switch, and main ON/OFF etc.
- Variable speed range is possible with the help of frequency inverter.
