Key Features of Beam Conveyors
- Beam track is made out of ISMB, which is modular in construction and is bolted together for easy assembly.
- Rivet less chain, easy for assembly and disassembly.
- Trolley brackets are drop forged, cast or pressed steel members to which the trolley wheels are attached with provision for point load capacity 180 kg.
- Series of rollers mounted to guide a conveyor chain around a horizontal curve.
- Safety devices like anti backup and anti runaway can be provided.
- For high temperature pressurized airless spray lubrication is provided.
- A sprocket drive is mounted on a floating type structure. The tensioning can be adjusted by dead weight or by pneumatic and cylinder for safety over tension and under tension limit switches is provided.
- Alternative drive with separate take up is provided.
- Trolley is oil filled which eliminates the need of lubrication.
