This Water Proofing System - Multi-guard Crystal is a proprietary, aqueous blend of inorganic chemicals and other ingredients for application by spray, roller or brush.
This Crystal has coverage of 70sqft. / lit / coat and it is non-toxic. This also has been approved for potable water applications and it is effective in sealing, hardening, waterproofing and dust proofing concrete surfaces. It protects concrete surfaces from abrasion, freeze-thaw damage and chloride ion intrusion. It stops water seepage from either the positive [175 ft depth] or negative [135 ft depth] side of the concrete slab when the seepage is not caused by cracking or either structural flaw.
This Crystal prevents efflorescence, which will improve the bonding of cementitious toppings, coatings, and paints.
It works equally well on old or new concrete, above or below grade, and is intended for use on poured in place walls, pre-formed tilt-ups, bridges, road surfaces, pipes, basement walls, foundations, sidewalks, industrial floors and slabs.
