Organic and Inorganic Insoluble Pigment is a finely divided material which contributes to optical and other properties of paint, finishes and coatings. Pigments are insoluble in coating material which are mechanically mixed in the coating and are deposited when the coating dries up. Pigments do not change its physical property by incorporation in and deposition from the vehicle. Organic and Inorganic Insoluble Pigments may be classified according to composition or by source with the most useful colour classification.
