Industrial Grade Resorcinolic Resin can be used as a resorcinol component of the dry bonding system for adhesion of synthetic tyre cord and brass plated tyre cord to rubber. The Resin has a balanced combination of good adhesion and good flex fatigue resistance in conjunction with methylene donors like formaldehyde, hexa methylene tetramine and hexa methoxy methylol melamine resin. The Resin comes packed in 25 kg net weight HDPE laminated kraft paper bag. The Resin is completely soluble in water, alcohol, ketones and insoluble in aromatic solvents. The Resin is hydroscopic and must be protected from exposure to relative humidity and should be stored in a cool dry place. The Industrial Grade Resorcinolic Resin is stable for one year and in offered in pastille form and has low vapour pressure, thus, the fuming and weight loss that occur with processing.
