The 165 PTO hp Row-Crop Tractor includes rated engine hp 97/68 EC [ISO] as 205. 165 PTO hp Row-Crop Tractor is equipped with the 6.8L PowerTech™ Plus engine. Rated speed is at 2100 rpm, with peak torque occurring at 1600 rpm. This base engine has a 40% torque rise, 10% power bulge and uses the latest technology to deliver increased power, responsive torque and fuel efficiency. This technology includes a Variable Geometry Turbocharger [VGT], four valves per cylinder head and cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation [EGR] for today`s cleaner exhaust emission requirements. The electric fuel pump will improve serviceability because it self-bleeds air after the fuel filters are changed.
Some applications demand even more power, whether the tractor is pulling a heavy manure tank on hilly roads or hooked to a pull-type forage harvester in the field. The optional Intelligent Power Management will provide up to an additional 30 engine horsepower in transport and non-stationary rear Power Take-Off [PTO] operations.
