The Top Torque Shaft Couplings are suitable for connection of two shafts in diesel engines and electric drives. The mounting could be simplified by constructional modifications and the nominal torque could be increased by higher requirements in quality to the rubber/fabric tyre; the nominal torque covers the range from 35 Nm up to 20460 Nm.
Because of the special construction of the shaft tyre, the Top Torque can overcome extreme offsets with low restoring forces, without noting any wear. The rubber/fabric tyre is provided with a parting line in our works so that it can be mounted and dismantled radially without necessity to shift the connected machines. The torque is transmitted absolutely backlash-free. It is suitable to absorb torque peaks and to damp occurring vibrations and is can be used in explosion-hazardous zones.
