These couplings are highly flexible rubber couplings with linear characteristic, for connection to a cardan shaft directly mounted to a diesel engine drive. The torque range of this series is 480 Nm to 14800 Nm. The connection dimensions on engine side comply with the SAE standard J620 or DIN 6281. The cardan shaft side is available in various metric sizes.
Higher Shock Load Cardan Shaft Coupling combines a ring element of rubber flexible material and a bearing for safe receipt of the reaction forces of a connected cardan shaft. The bearing consists of an axial and a radial sliding bearing made of wear - resistant and maintenance- free compound. Higher Shock Load Cardan Shaft Coupling is designed for application with piston engines for direct connection to a cardan shaft. The ring element can be connected directly to the flywheel of an engine. The cardan shaft is flanged to the B ? side of the coupling. Diffraction angles of the cardan shaft are up to 5 degree are admissible, larger angles.
