The series covers a nominal torque range from 2000 Nm up to 270000 Nm, in special sizes also up to 450000 Nm. The torque is transmitted from the input side to the output side overcoming single elements in star-shaped arrangement. The construction of the GE Coupling is particularly compact; it is suitable for diesel engine and electric drives. The elements can be mounted and dismantled radially without necessity to shift the connected machines.
