PBI-Dansensor manufactures gas analysers, gas mixers, gas flow control, etc. Water Vapour Permeability Tester of Whole Containers, L90-4000 is especially designed to test water absorption or desorption in complete packages, such as juice bricks, bottles, tobacco packs, pharmaceutical packages, etc. This tester has the user interface separate from the test chamber and the test chamber can be enlarged by extension chamber rings in order to fit individual containers. The test chamber makes it possible to measure the permeability of real packages filled with water, absorption material or the actual producer [example: foods, batteries, pharmaceutical items]. Package shelf-life can be determined using this tester at elevated temperatures to stimulate accelerated ageing processes, and the permeability of the packages can be calculated for ambient conditions.
