Wafer Type Butterfly Control Valve is available in sizes from 50 to 900 mm, flow characteristics of throttling, on-off and has body made using quality grade cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel etc. The Valve has stainless steel made vane, neoprene, nitrile, Teflon, EPDM, silicon, butyl, viton made body sleeve, Teflon made soft seat. The Valve provides low weight to CV ratio combined with simplicity of design and is simple device to control or block the flow, a single vane or wafer disc pivots in the valve body and find wide application for throttling or two position control in the chemical, paper and pulp, sugar industries, cooling water circulation, water treatment plants, compressed air, gas plant, flue gas desulphurization plants etc. The Valve has diaphragm, rotary, piston, electric type actuator, nitrile/ neoprene made diaphragm. The Valve has spring range from 3 to 30 psig, air supply from 20 to 35 psig, air connection from 1/4" or 1/ 2" NPT. The Wafer Type Butterfly Control Valve can be availed with optional accessories such as valve positioner - pneumatic, electro pneumatic, air set, solenoid valve, air lock, volume booster, i/p converter, position transmitter, limit - proximity switches, top or side mounted hand wheel.
