Macintel has designed and manufactured a bolt-on cnc attachment, model mini profiturn - i & ii, to convert conventional small size centre lathes to slant bed cnc versions. So mini profiturn is a slant bed cnc attachment for upgradation of small size lathes. For this function it is not necessary to dismantle the parent lathe and refurbish it as in case of normal retrofit, for imparting the capability of a full cnc lathe. This unique cnc attachment from macintel is an extremely economical solution with quality inputs like fagor cnc system, baldor ac servo motors and digital drives, centrally located precision hardened and ground ball screws, linear motion guide ways, etc. This process of conversion from a conventional lathe can be performed in less than a week.
