Xtend offers Audio Logger can be utilized wherever continuous audio recording is required. The logger logs the analog audio signals from any equipment connected to it as `line-in`. Xtend provides USB-based Audio Logger in 4/8 port options.This logger toolkit can be programmed in such a way that it initiates the logging immediately after a keypress.

There are 4 ways in which an Xtend logger commences the recording process. They are:

• Timed Recording: Logs the audio everyday, especially, during a particular time schedule.

• Voice Activated Recording: Logs the audio when specific voice/words are recognized.

• Continuous Recording: Logs audio wherever 24x7 logging is needed.

• Externally triggered Recording: Logs the audio, if and only if an external trigger occurs, such as a switch is turned on.


Apart from hardware, Xtend Voice Logging Solution software needs to be loaded to generate the reports and details of logging. For the same, we require an ordinary PC with 2+ GHz processor capability and atleast 80GB hard disk storage space to store the voice logs. Windows XP Professional/2000/2003 Server operating system with a minimum of 512 MB RAM is required for proper functioning of the system. A CD/DVD writer avails to store backups whereas a Network Interface Card serves to access remotely the browser-based interface.
