General Cable offers Telecommunications Air Core Cable with Twisted Pairs Conductor. All the products of General Cable are manufactured in accordance to ISO 9001:2000. The Telecommunications Air Core Cable with Twisted Pairs Conductor includes solid, annealed copper; sizes 19, 22, 24 and 26 AWG conductors. Insulation is solid, high density polyethylene and color-coded in accordance with telephone industry standards. The insulated conductors are twisted into pairs with varying lay lengths to minimize crosstalk and the Core Assembly is assembled together in a single group. Core Wrap: non-hygroscopic dielectric tape applied longitudinally with an overlap. Aluminum Shield is corrugated, 0.008 inch aluminum tape, applied longitudinally with an overlap. Telecommunications Air Core Cable with Twisted Pairs Conductor is intended for aerial installation where additional mechanical protection is required.
