General Cable offers Telecommunications Air Core Cable. All the products of General Cable are manufactured in accordance to ISO 9001:2000. The Telecommunications Air Core Cable has solid, annealed copper; sizes 19, 22 and 24 AWG conductors. Insulation is solid, high density polyethylene, color-coded in accordance with telephone industry standards. The insulated conductors are twisted into pairs with varying lay lengths to minimize crosstalk. Telecommunications Air Core Cable has a Core Wrap, which includes non-hygroscopic dielectric tape applied longitudinally with an overlap. Aluminum Shield: Corrugated, copolymer coated, 0.008 inch aluminum tape applied longitudinally with an overlap. Jacket is made of black, linear low density polyethylene. The Telecommunications Air Core Cable is intended for aerial installation and it is built in compliance to RDUP [RUS] Specification PE-38.
