The Multi-Conductor, Overall Shield Nuclear Cable has 18 AWG and 16 AWG tinned, annealed copper conductor. Insulation is made of flame-retardant, heat, moisture and radiation resistant, thermoset Ultrol ® Cross-Linked Polyethylene. Jacket includes heavy-duty Chlorosulphonated Polyethylene [CSPE], commonly referred to as Hypalon ® - Black. The Multi-Conductor, Overall Shield Nuclear Cable is specifically designed for applications in nuclear generating stations and on circuits where overall shielding is required to protect from external electrostatic interference. The Overall Shield Nuclear Cable can be installed in trays, conduit, ducts, or in direct burial applications and features radiation resistance, with maximum flame-retardancy. This Multi-Conductor, Overall Shield Nuclear Cable has excellent mechanical cut through properties.
