This Low-Voltage Power, Unshielded Cable is of RHH/RHW-2 XLPE, Unshielded 2000V, UL Type RHH/RHW-2. This cable has 8 AWG thru 1000 kcmil compacted aluminum conductor, with flame-retardant Cross-Linked Polyethylene [XLPE] - Black insulation.

Applications of Low-Voltage Power, Unshielded Cable:

• For use from the lower control box at the base of the wind power tower and out to the step-up transformer through conduit

• General purpose building wire for use in air and approved raceways

• Industrial environments where superior insulation toughness and chemical resistance is required

• Maximum operating temperature not to exceed 90 °C in wet or dry locations


Low-Voltage Power, Unshielded Cable has UV resistance, with good electrical, thermal and physical properties. The cable is resistant to moisture, crush, compression cuts and heat deformation.
