Product Profile of Hvteck Trxlpe/tape Shield/ Armored Cable

General Cable offers HVTECK TRXLPE/Tape Shield/ Armored Cable. All the products of General Cable are manufactured in accordance to ISO 9001:2000. The HVTECK TRXLPE/Tape Shield/ Armored Cable has 6 AWG thru 1000 kcmil bare copper conductor, with a thermoset semi-conducting strand shield that is extruded over the conductor. Insulation is Tree-Retardant Cross-Linked Polyethylene [TR-XLPE] and the Ground [Bonding] Conductor consists of one uninsulated stranded bare copper conductor. Inner Jacket is made of flame-retardant, moisture and sunlight-resistant Polyvinyl Chloride [PVC] and is black in colour. Armor is Aluminum Interlocked.

Applications of HVTECK TRXLPE/Tape Shield/ Armored Cable:

• For wiring in all hazardous locations when used with certified HL cable glands

• For exposed and concealed wiring in dry, damp or wet locations

• For use in ventilated, non-ventilated and ladder-type cable trays in dry, damp or wet locations
