Product Profile of Hook-up Wire

General Cable offers Hook-Up Wire. All the products of General Cable are manufactured in accordance to ISO 9001:2000. The Hook-Up Wires have 18 through 8 AWG fully annealed stranded bare copper conductors. Insulation is premium-grade, color-coded PVC and temperature ranges from MTW: -40 °C to +90 °C and TEW/AWM: -20 °C to +105 °C.
Applications of the Hook-Up Wire include:

• Motor and transformer lead

• External wiring of machinery

The Hook-Up Wire can withstand oil, flame and moisture resistance and is extra-flexible. It has the following Industry Approvals:

• UL and NMTBA Type MTW/AWM

• CSA TEW

• Passes VW-1 Vertical Flame Test

• OSHA Acceptable

• AWM Style 1015 - 18-8 AWG.

• AWM Style 1335 - 18-10 AWG.

• AWM Style 1336 - 8 AWG.

• RoHS Compliant
