This EPR/AIA/PVC, Power, Shielded, Armored Cable is of 15kV, UL Type MV-105 or MC, 133% Ins. Level, 220 Mils, Three Conductor. Conductors are made of 2 AWG thru 1000 kcmil bare, compact copper, with thermoset semi-conducting extruded stress control layer over conductor Extruded Strand Shield [ESS].
Insulation is Ethylene Propylene Rubber [EPR], colored to contrast with black conducting layers and Extruded Insulation Shield [EIS] thermoset semi-conducting polymeric layer free stripping from insulation. Shield of EPR/AIA/PVC, Power, Shielded, Armored Cable is 5 mil annealed copper tape with a minimum 25% overlap. Ground is made of annealed bare copper, with Aluminum Interlocked Armor. Jacket is red in colour and is made of flame-retardant, moisture and sunlight-resistant Polyvinyl Chloride.
