The Armored & Sheathed, Variable Frequency Drive [VFD] Power Cable [2kV/1000V] has 3 Conductors. Conductor includes 8 AWG thru 777 kcmil soft annealed tinned copper flexible strand and Insulation is made of Polyrad ® XT-125 Irradiated Cross-Linked Polyolefin [XLPO]. Ground is made of 3 split green insulated flexible tinned copper conductors sized to UL 1277, and shield is made of overall tinned copper braid with aluminum/polyester tape -100% coverage for enhanced shield effectiveness required by VFD applications. The Armored & Sheathed, Variable Frequency Drive [VFD] Power Cable is used in AC motor variable frequency drives and in offshore oil and gas drilling platforms, MODUs, ships and FPSOs. This cable is applied in land-based oil and gas drilling rigs and it meets NEK 606 mud oil resistance requirements including ester-based mud.
