Operating Rod Insulator of Pantograph Disconnector is used primarily for operating the pantograph scissors and for providing insulation for the person operating the Pantograph. The Operating Rod Insulator is also normally a solid core insulator of lesser diameter and cantilever strength when compared to the support insulator. The Operating Rod Insulator comes with an upped end which is connected to a bell crank for operating the disconnector. Operating Rod Insulator of Pantograph Disconnector has its lower end connected to the operating mechanism through a down operating pipe.
