Specifications of Portable Light Weight Diesel Engine are:
- Combustion chamber: Direct injection in open type combustion chamber provided in an aluminium alloy piston with long stem multihole nozzle results into low fuel consumption and easy starting
- Fuel System: High speed diesel is supplied to the fuel; pump by gravity feed through an efficient replaceable paper element type main filter
- Lubrication: Engine`s moving parts are lubricated by force feed and partly by splash lubrication. A throwaway type bypass filter is provided for filtering the lubricating oil. Lubricated oil is supplied under constant pressure by lubricated oil pump.
- Governing: A sensible mechanical centrifugal type governor mounted on camshaft gear. Speed variation is controlled within limits to comply with class B1 governing as per IS: 11170. Class A2 Governing as per IS: 10001 [General - Purpose]
- Cooling: Water cooled engine is continuous cooled by flow of water. Air Cooled engine is cooled by air flow generated with the help of fan mounted on flywheel called conventional cooling.
- Rotation: Standard rotation is clockwise looking at the flywheel. Engine with reverse rotation can be provided on demand
- Starting: The engine is designed for starting by hand. Electric start provision can also be provided against specific requirement.
- Drive: Standard power takes off is from flywheel side. Power take off from gear and at half speed can be provided on demand.
