The ISO 9001: 2000 certified company NCL Energy Limited manufactures Roof and its Structural Frame Work. With regard to the Roof, its Structural Frame Work is laid over a framework of trusses, purlins and columns fixed using suitable fasteners like J-hooks with bitumen washers, nuts, bolts, etc. With regard to the Structural Frame Work of roofs, the trusses are made using rectangular hollow steel sections of size 66 x 33 x 2.9 mm. The trusses are provided at a distances of 2.44m and are supported on truss columns made using rectangular hollow steel sections of size 96 x 48 x 3.2 mm fixed with each using 5 mm thick MS end plates and 10 mm nut/ bolts at top level.
The columns can be welded with 5-mm thick MS end plate and shall be fixed to the foundation bolts through this plate. With regard to the Roof and its Structural Frame Work, the purlins are made using rectangular hollow steel sections of size 66 x 33 2.9 mm provided on the trusses at a maximum pitch of 1m or less and are fixed and flushed with the top level of trusses with the help of 5 mm thick MS end plates and 10 mm nut/ bolts. The roof slope can be 1:4 approximately and can be done with pre-painted trapezoidal / galvanized corrugated sheets of 0.63 mm thickness having min 120 GSM galvanizing. As designed by NCL Energy Limited, these pre-painted trapezoidal / corrugated GI sheets is laid over a frame work of trusses, columns and purlins fixed using suitable fasteners like "J" hooks with bitumen washers, nuts, bolts, etc. A PPS / GI Ridge cover of size 225 x 225 x 0.63 mm made from PPS / GI steel sheet/ coil having min 120 GSM pre-painted / galvanizing shall be fixed on top junction of the roof using suitable fasteners.
