Rotomotive Powerdrives India Ltd. Provides Speed Variators that fall under the series name `Vario`. The Speed Variators of cone disc are built in an Aluminium die-casted housing in 3 sizes: small, medium and large. The cone discs are made in case hardened bearing steel to increase the durability of each Speed Variator. Each Speed Variator is equipped with filler, level and breather plugs to make it suitable for any mounting position. The Speed Variator can operate in two directions, input and output shafts and can rotate in the same direction. Hand wheel can be fitted to both sides of control box for convenient installation. In the Speed Variator a filler plug is magnetic too, in order to maintain clean the lubricant and extend the maintenance intervals. In the Speed Variator, the oil bath operation provides high efficiency, low noise and vibration free running. The closed input flange is an integral part of the Speed Variator prevents oil leaks possibilities. In the Speed Variator, the housing and flanges are blasted and then painted, to cancel the negative effects of the Aluminium porosity and protect it from oxidation.
